Defect

On vehicles equipped with a regenerative-control DPF, the brake air tube, parking brake cable, and transmission cable routed near the exhaust pipe may be exposed to excessive heat. Continued use in this condition can melt the air tube and cables, resulting in reduced braking force, parking brake malfunction, and impaired transmission operation.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the brake air tube, parking brake cable, transmission cable, and exhaust brake shutter with corrected parts.

状況

再生制御式DPFを搭載した車両において、排気管付近に配索されたブレーキ用エアチューブ、駐車ブレーキ用ケーブル及び変速機用ケーブルが、高温になる場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エアチューブやケーブルが溶損し、制動力の低下、駐車ブレーキの作動不良及び変速機の操作性不良となることがある。

改善措置

全車両、ブレーキ用エアチューブ、駐車ブレーキ用ケーブル、変速機用ケーブル及び排気ブレーキ用シャッターを対策品に交換する。
