Defect
Improper machining during manufacture of the brake lamp relay causes the internal contacts to malfunction. Continued use may result in the contacts fusing in the closed position, leaving the brake lamps illuminated continuously.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the relay with a conforming part. On bus applications, also replace the headlamp relay, which uses the same component.

状況
制動灯用リレーの製造時の加工が不適切なため、当該リレー内部の接点が作動不良となる場合がある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、接点が固着し制動灯が点灯したままとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該リレーを良品に交換する。また、バスにおいては、同一の部品を使用した前照灯用リレーも交換する。
