Defect
The internal piping configuration of the gas cylinder is incorrect. After the engine is shut off, rising temperature increases fuel pressure upstream of the fuel shutoff valve. When the engine is restarted, fuel flows abruptly, activating the excess-flow prevention valve and preventing the engine from restarting.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the gas cylinder with a corrected part and inspect the pressure-reducing valve; if an improved valve is not already installed, replace it with the improved part. In addition, attach a caution plate to the gas cylinder cover specifying the requirement to use automotive autogas and the procedure for resetting the excess-flow prevention valve when it activates.

状況
ガス容器内部の配管構造が不適切ため、エンジン停止後に温度上昇により燃料遮断弁前の燃料圧力が高くなったとき、エンジン再始動時に燃料が急激に流れ過流防止弁が作動し、エンジンが再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ガス容器を対策品に交換するとともに、減圧弁を確認し、改良品が装着されていない場合は改良品に交換する。 また、自動車用オートガスの使用の徹底と過流防止弁作動時の処置方法を記載したコーションプレートをガス容器カバーに貼付する。
