Defect
On manual transmission vehicles, the retention clip for the gear shift cable is incorrectly shaped, causing it to interfere with the gear shift control lever housing during shift operations. Continued use may cause the clip to fracture and, in the worst case, the gear shift cable may disengage from the gear shift control lever, making gear changes impossible.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the gear shift cable retention clip with the corrected part.

状況
手動変速機付車において、ギヤシフトケーブル抜け止め用クリップの形状が不適切なため、シフト操作時にギヤシフトコントロールレバーのハウジングに当該クリップが干渉することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該クリップが折損し、最悪の場合、ギヤシフトケーブルがギヤシフトコントロールレバーから外れ、変速できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ギヤシフトケーブル抜け止め用クリップを対策品と交換する。
