Defect
On vehicles equipped with a turbocharged engine, the specified torque value for the bolts securing the transmission mount to the bracket is incorrect. Repeated hard acceleration causes these bolts to loosen. Continued use can result in the bolts pulling out or fracturing, allowing the engine and transmission to tilt. In the worst case, the drive shaft disengages and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the affected bolts are replaced with corrected parts and torqued to the proper specification. If the bolts cannot be torqued to the specified value, the transmission mount and transmission bracket are replaced with new parts and torqued to specification. Where rubber material protrudes near the transmission mount fastening area, the excess rubber is trimmed.

状況
ターボ付エンジン搭載車両において、変速機のマウントとブラケットを締結するボルトのトルクの規定値が不適切なため、急発進又は急加速走行を繰り返し行った場合、当該ボルトが緩むことがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該ボルトの抜け又は破損によりエンジン及び変速機が傾き、最悪の場合、ドライブシャフトが抜け、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボルトを対策品と交換して適切なトルクで締付ける。なお、一定のトルク値で締まっていない場合は、変速機マウント及び変速機ブラケットを新品と交換し、適切なトルクで締付ける。また、変速機マウントの締結部付近にラバーがはみ出しているものは、当該ラバーを切り取る。
