Defect

On vehicles fitted with a rear body, the clamp for the rear brake pipe was omitted during assembly. When the brake pipe vibrates, it may contact the rear body stopper mounting bolt. Continued operation may cause the brake pipe to be perforated, allowing brake fluid to leak and reducing braking effectiveness.

Corrective action

Relocate the rear body stopper rearward and install a clamp on the brake pipe. Any brake pipe found to be damaged must be replaced with a new part.

状況

リヤボデーを架装した車両において、リヤブレーキパイプのクランプを取付忘れたため、ブレーキパイプが振動した際、ストッパーリヤボデーの取付ボルトとブレーキパイプが干渉する車両がある。そのため、このまま使用を続けると、ブレーキパイプに穴が明き、ブレーキ液が漏れ、ブレーキの効きが悪くなるおそれがある。

改善措置

ストッパーリヤボデーの取付位置を後方に移設し、ブレーキパイプにクランプを取付ける。 尚、ブレーキパイプが損傷しているものは、新品と交換する。
