Defect
Manufacturing process flash contaminated the piston cup inside the brake master cylinder, causing cracks to form in the cup. Continued use may allow the piston cup to fail completely, preventing hydraulic pressure from being transmitted. In the worst case, braking force is reduced.
Corrective action
Replace the subject piston cup with a conforming part on all vehicles.

状況
ブレーキマスターシリンダー内部のピストンカップに製造工程時のバリが混入しているものがあるため、ピストンカップに亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用すると、最悪の場合、ピストンカップが破損し、油圧が伝達されず、制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ピストンカップを良品と交換する。
