Defect
The purge resonator—which reduces pulsation noise as fuel evaporative gas passes through the hose—was manufactured using an improper process, causing the welded joint to separate. As a result, fuel evaporative gas may leak from the resonator, allowing hydrocarbon emissions to exceed the regulatory limit.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, replace the purge resonator with a conforming part.

状況
燃料蒸発ガスがホース内を通過する時の脈動音を低減させるパージレゾネータの製造方 法が不適切なため、パージレゾネータの溶着部がはがれることがある。そのため、そのま ま使用を続けると、パージレゾネータから燃料蒸発ガスが漏れて、炭化水素の排出量が規 制値を超えるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、パージレゾネータを良品と交換する。
