Defect
On vehicles equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) and the hill-start assist system (EZGO), the hydraulic control unit was machined incorrectly during manufacturing. Continued operation may cause excessive brake pedal travel during braking following an ABS activation event. In the worst case, rear wheel braking effectiveness is lost and overall braking force is reduced.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake hydraulic control unit with a corrected part.

状況
ＡＢＳ（アンチロックブレーキシステム）及び坂道発進補助装置（ＥＺＧＯ：イージーゴー） 装着車両において、油圧制御装置内部の加工に不適切なものがあるため、そのままの状態 で使用を続けると、ＡＢＳ作動後の制動時にブレーキペダルの踏み込みが深くなり、最悪 の場合、後輪の制動が効かなくなり、制動力が低下するおそれがある。 （備考）本届出は、平成１２年８月２２日付「届出番号６６７」のリコール届出に対し、対象機種及 び対象範囲を見直した結果、 追加届出を行うものである。
改善措置
全車両、当該制動油圧制御装置を対策品と交換する。
