Defect

On some vehicles, the mounting bolts securing the internal seat frame to the recliner mechanism of the driver's seat were insufficiently torqued during assembly. The bolts may loosen during use. In the worst case, a bolt may fall out while driving, causing the seatback to collapse.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the affected bolts with new bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.

状況

 乗車装置において、運転者席の座席の背もたれ内部の骨組みと背もたれ調整装置を固定 する取付ボルトに、締付トルクが不足しているものがあるため、使用中に当該ボルトが緩 み、最悪の場合、運転中に当該ボルトが脱落し、背もたれが倒れるおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、当該ボルトを新品のボルトと交換し締付ける。
