Defect
Misaligned welds on the propeller shaft result in insufficient joint strength. In the worst case, the weld separates, causing the shaft to spin freely and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the propeller shaft weld position. Replace any shaft where the weld position falls outside the specified value with a non-defective part.

プロペラシャフトにおいて、溶接部の位置がずれているため強度が不足しているものがあ り、最悪の場合、溶接が剥がれて空回りし、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、プロペラシャフトの溶接位置を確認し基準値を外れているものは良品と交換する 。
