Defect
The rubber plug (drain plug) on the left side of the engine has insufficient heat resistance, causing it to crack. Coolant may leak through the cracked plug and, in the worst case, lead to engine overheating.
Corrective action
Verify the engine serial number. On affected vehicles, replace the rubber plug with the corrected part.
