Defect
On diesel engine-equipped vehicles, the blade retention grooves in the vacuum pump rotor that supplies negative pressure to the brake booster were improperly machined. Continued use causes the carbon blades to wear and, in the worst case, fracture, eliminating negative pressure generation. As a result, brake effectiveness is reduced under normal pedal effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vacuum pump rotor with a conforming part and replace the blades with new ones.

状況
ディーゼルエンジン搭載車両において、ブレーキ倍力装置に負圧を供給するバキュームポ ンプのロータのブレード（羽根）保持溝に加工の不適切なものがあり、このままの状態で 使用を続けると、カーボン製ブレードが摩耗し、最悪の場合、破損して負圧が発生しなく なり、通常の踏力ではブレーキの効きが悪くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、バキュームポンプのロータを良品と交換するとともに、ブレードを新品と交換す る。
