Defect
On the hood secondary latch assembly, the clearance between the hook and the collar is too narrow on certain vehicles. Dust accumulation in the hook operating area may prevent the hook from engaging. If the vehicle is driven without the primary latch secured, the hood may open unexpectedly in the worst case.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected latch fitting with the corrected part.

状況
ボンネットの副ロック装置において、止め金具のフック（掛け金具）とカラー（筒状金 具）の隙間が狭いものがあるため、フック作動部に埃がたまると当該フックが作動しない 場合があり、この状態で主ロックをしないまま走行すると、最悪の場合、ボンネットが開 くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該止め金具を対策品と交換する。
