Issue
The airbag deployment sensor is overly sensitive to instantaneous impacts. When the vehicle passes over a deep pothole at high speed or drives over a road obstacle, the airbag may deploy inadvertently.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the airbag control unit is replaced with a corrected part.
