Issue
In the collision avoidance support system, the night-operation software for the pre-crash safety city sensor is incorrect, preventing the use of camera image data at night and limiting operation to reflected laser data only. As a result, the system may fail to correctly detect vehicles ahead. This reduces the performance of the collision damage mitigation brake during nighttime driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the night-operation software.

状況
衝突回避支援システムにおいて、プリクラッシュセーフティシティセンサの夜間作動プログラムが不適切なため、夜間のカメラ映像が使用できず反射レーザーデータのみでの作動となり、前方車両を正しく検出できなくなることがある。そのため、夜間走行中の衝突被害軽減ブレーキ性能が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、夜間作動プログラムを修正する。
