Issue
Improper frame coating specifications and incorrect torque settings for the front engine mounting bolts allow heat and vibration from the engine to wear away the paint film, reducing the clamping force of those bolts. Continued use may cause the bolts to fracture. In the worst case, the frame may fracture, compromising driving stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, perform the following corrective measures. (1) Inspect the torque of the front engine mounting bolts. On vehicles where torque is below the specified value, replace the frame, as cracks may have already developed. On vehicles where torque meets or exceeds the specified value, remove the paint film from the bolt seating surfaces (inner and outer) of the front engine mounting points (left and right) on the frame. In all cases, proceed with steps (2) and (3) below. (2) Install additional washers between the front engine mounting points on the frame and the engine (left and right), then install new front engine mounting bolts and tighten to the newly specified torque. (3) Apply touch-up paint to any unpainted areas at the front engine mounting points (left and right) on the frame.

状況
フレームの塗装指示及びエンジン前側懸架ボルトの締付トルク設定が不適切なため、エンジンから発生する熱や振動等により塗膜が摩滅し、エンジン前側懸架ボルトの軸力が低下することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると当該ボルトが折損し、最悪の場合、フレームが折損して走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、以下の改善対策を実施する。 （１）エンジン前側懸架ボルトの締付トルクを点検し、指定したトルク未満の車両については、フレームに亀裂が発生しているおそれがあるためフレームを交換する。指定したトルク以上の車両については、フレームのエンジン前側懸架部（左・右）の締付座面（内・外）の塗膜を除去する。 上記いずれの場合においても、以下の（２）（３）を実施する。 （２）フレームのエンジン前側懸架部とエンジンの間（左・右）に、ワッシャを追加し、新品のエンジン前側懸架ボルトを、新たに設定したトルクにて締付けを行う。 （３）フレームのエンジン前側懸架部（左・右）における外観未塗装部に補修塗装を施す。
