Defect
Inadequate material controls during the manufacture of turn signal switch components allow non-specification materials to be used. Rainwater and other moisture that enters the switch cause corrosion of these components. In the worst case, advancing corrosion causes component breakage, and the turn signals stop operating.
Corrective action
Replace the turn signal switch on all vehicles (applicable to both conditions ① and ②) with a conforming unit.

状況
②方向指示器において、ウィンカスイッチ構成部品の材料管理が不適切なため、正規と異なる材料で製造されたものがある。そのため、スイッチ内部に浸入した雨水等により構成部品が腐食し、最悪の場合、腐食が進行して部品が破損すると、方向指示器が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①②全車両、ウィンカスイッチを良品に交換する。
