Defect
Some airbag control units have insufficient resistance to electrical noise. Noise generated during power seat operation can damage the IC chip inside the unit over time. In the worst case, the airbag may deploy while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
All vehicles: install a noise filter on the airbag control unit.

状況
エアバッグコントロールユニットにおいて、電気ノイズに対する耐力が不足したものがある。そのため、電動シート操作時に発生するノイズにより、使用過程で当該ユニット内のＩＣチップが損傷し、最悪の場合、走行中にエアバッグが展開するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアバッグコントロールユニットにノイズフィルタを追加する。
