Defect
Some airbag control units have insufficient resistance to electrical noise. Noise generated by the vehicle's electrical components can damage the IC chip inside the unit during normal vehicle use. In the worst case, the airbag may deploy while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a noise filter to the airbag control unit.

状況
エアバッグコントロールユニットにおいて、電気ノイズに対する耐力が不足したものがある。そのため、車両の電装部品から発生するノイズにより、使用過程で当該ユニット内のＩＣチップが損傷し、最悪の場合、走行中にエアバッグが展開するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアバッグコントロールユニットにノイズフィルタを追加する。
