Defect
Improper assembly of the front brake hose to the vehicle body results in the hose being routed out of its correct position. The misrouted hose contacts the edge of the hose guide. Continued operation damages the hose and, in the worst case, may cause brake fluid to leak and result in loss of front brake effectiveness.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the routing position of the front brake hose. If the hose is found incorrectly routed, replace it with a new part and reinstall it in the correct position.

状況
制動装置において、前輪ブレーキホースの車体への組付け作業が不適切なため、正しい位置に組付けられていないものがある。そのため、当該ホースがホースガイド端部と接触し、そのまま使用を続けると、当該ホースが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキ液が漏れ、前輪ブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前輪ブレーキホースの組付け位置を点検し、誤った位置へ組付けられている場合は、当該ホースを新品と交換して、正しい位置に組付ける。
