Defect
On large trucks, the sub-harness for the LED front fog lamps is improperly routed. On vehicles equipped with a front underrun protection device (FUPD) mounted close to the fog lamp, the connector may contact or become pinched by the FUPD. Continued use in this condition allows vehicle vibration to damage the connector, causing poor contact, a broken wire, or a short circuit that results in the fog lamp failing to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, secure the sub-harness connector horizontally to the heat sink on the rear face of the LED front fog lamp using a clip-type cable tie.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、ＬＥＤ前部霧灯のサブハーネス配策が不適切なため、前部潜り込み防止装置（ＦＵＰＤ）の取付位置が当該灯火器と近接している仕様車では、接続コネクタがＦＵＰＤに干渉もしくは挟み込まれるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車両振動等でコネクタが破損し接触不良、断線または短絡して不点灯となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＬＥＤ前部霧灯後面の放熱板にサブハーネスのコネクタを横向きにクリップ付き結束バンドで固定する。
