Defect
On large trucks, the wiring terminal crimp on the headlight operating switch is improperly formed, increasing contact resistance at the terminal. This causes a continuity fault at the terminal, and the headlights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the headlight operating switch with the corrected part.

状況
大型トラックの灯火装置において、前照灯操作スイッチの配線用端子のかしめが不適切なため、当該端子部の接触抵抗が増大するものがある。そのため、当該端子部が導通不良を起こし、前照灯が不灯となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前照灯操作スイッチを対策品に交換する。
