Defect
When repairing vehicles by replacing the legacy front chassis input/output module with the current-production unit, the software reprogramming instructions are incorrect. As a result, the automatic headlight activation software is not updated to the latest version. When the ignition is switched on, depending on the module's processing load, available memory may become insufficient. If memory is exhausted and processing fails, the automatic headlight on/off function enters emergency mode, causing the low-beam headlights to remain illuminated continuously regardless of ambient light level. This causes the headlights to fall outside compliance with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the front chassis input/output module to the latest software version to increase available memory capacity.

状況
修理でフロントシャシ入出力モジュールの旧型から現行型に交換する際のプログラム書き込み指示が不適切なため、前照灯の自動点灯機能に関するソフトウェアが最新版に更新されていない。そのため、ＩＧ電源オン時に当該モジュール内の演算処理状況によってはメモリ容量が不足することがあり、メモリ容量が不足し演算処理ができなくなった場合、自動点灯・消灯機能が非常用モードになり、照度に関係なくすれ違い用前照灯が常時点灯状態となり、保安基準に適合しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、メモリ容量の使用領域を増やすためにフロントシャシ入出力モジュールのプログラムを最新版に書き換える。
