Defect
On heavy-duty diesel trucks compliant with the 2016 emissions regulations, the Engine Management System (EMS) program settings are incorrect. As a result, the diagnostic monitoring functions for fuel system pressure control and intake boost pressure sensor faults may not execute. The warning light that would alert the driver to these faults may therefore fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the EMS with the corrected/updated software.

状況
平成２８年排出ガス規制対応の大型トラックのディーゼルエンジンにおいて、エンジン制御システム（ＥＭＳ）のプログラム設定が不適切なため、燃料システムの燃料圧力制御の監視および吸気過給のブースト圧力センサ故障監視機能で診断が行われないことがある。そのため、故障を知らせる警告灯が点灯しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＥＭＳのプログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
