Defect
On large buses, the clutch switch is installed at an incorrect angle, causing the movable contact shaft and return spring to rub against each other. The resulting wear debris accumulates on the contact surfaces. When the clutch is engaged, this debris causes a contact failure, and the auxiliary braking device may fail to activate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the clutch switch with a corrected part.

状況
大型バスのクラッチスイッチにおいて、車両への取付角度が不適切なため、可動接点用シャフトとリターンスプリングが擦れて発生する摩耗粉が接点の表面に付着することがある。そのため、クラッチをつないだ際に導通不良となり、補助制動装置が作動しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クラッチスイッチを対策品に交換する。
