Defect
On large route buses, an incorrect painting process on the front axle allowed the radius rod mounting bracket to be assembled before the paint on the mating surface had fully dried. As the paint dried, it caused the mounting bracket fastening bolts to loosen. In the worst case, the radius rod or shock absorber may detach.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the radius rod mounting bracket from the front axle, strip the paint from the front axle mating surface, clean the bracket mating surface, and reinstall the bracket.

状況
大型路線バスにおいて、前軸の塗装工程が不適切なため、ラジアスロッド取付け金具面の塗料が乾いていない状態で当該取付け金具を組付けたものがある。そのため、塗料の乾燥に伴って当該取付け金具を締結しているボルトに緩みが生じ、最悪の場合、ラジアスロッドやショックアブソーバが外れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前軸からラジアスロッド取付け金具を取り外し、フロントアクスル側取付け面の塗料削除と当該ブラケット側取付け面の清掃を実施した後、当該ブラケットを再組み付けする。
