Defect

On heavy-duty tractors, improper tightening of the front brake hose connections during assembly results in insufficient clamping force at the hose fittings. The fittings may loosen and allow air to leak. In the worst case, braking force decreases.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the tightening torque at the brake hose connections and retighten to the specified torque where insufficient. If torque is found to be insufficient, replace the connection gasket with a new part.

状況

 大型トラクタにおいて、フロントブレーキホースの締付け作業が不適切なため、ホース接続部の締付け力が不足しているものがある。そのため、ホース接続部が緩みエアが漏れ、最悪の場合、制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、ブレーキホース接続部の締付けトルクを点検し、トルクが不足しているものは正規トルクで締め付ける。なお、トルクが不足している場合には接続部のパッキンを新品に交換する。
