Defect

On agricultural tractor rear axle shafts, improper heat treatment of the shaft may allow cracks to develop under high-load conditions such as field operation. Continued use allows the crack to propagate and, in the worst case, the shaft may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the rear axle shaft with a corrected part.

状況

農耕トラクタのリヤアクスルシャフトにおいて、シャフトの熱処理が不適切なため、圃場の作業時等の高負荷時にシャフトに亀裂が生じることがある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進展し、最悪の場合、シャフトが折損して走行不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、リヤアクスルシャフトを対策品に交換する。
