Defect

On vehicles where the hill start aid (HSA) device has been relocated, the mounting position used during relocation is improper, causing the HSA exhaust hose to contact a bolt and deform. Continued use in this condition restricts air discharge when the HSA releases, causing brake drag until the air is fully expelled.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, add a spacer and replace the mounting bolt with a corrected part.

状況

坂道発進補助装置(HSA:ヒル・スタート・エイド)を移設した車両において、移設時の取付け位置が不適切なため、HSAの排気ホースがボルトと干渉し、当該排気ホースが変形するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、HSA解除時に排出するエアが抜けにくくなり、エアが完全に排出されるまでの間、ブレーキの引き摺りが発生するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、スペーサを追加するとともに、取付けボルトを対策品に交換する。
