Defect

In the Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) system, an error in the control software causes the steering neutral position to shift when the vehicle is restarted immediately after parking with the steering wheel turned. As a result, the headlight aiming direction may deviate left or right.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, reprogram the control unit software with the corrected program.

状況

ギヤ比可変ステアリングシステム(VGRS)において、制御プログラムが不適切なため、ハンドルを切った状態で駐車直後に再始動するとハンドル中立位置がずれて、前照灯の照射位置が左右方向にずれるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該コンピュータのプログラムを修正する。
