Defect
The speed sensor harness is routed incorrectly due to improper routing instructions, allowing the harness to contact the rear tire during operation. This contact may cause a broken wire in the harness, disabling the speedometer.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the speed sensor harness for contact marks from the rear tire. If contact marks are present, replace the complete speed sensor assembly with new parts, add harness retaining clamps, and re-route the harness correctly. On all other vehicles, add harness retaining clamps and re-route the harness correctly.

状況
速度センサのハーネスにおいて、当該ハーネスの配索指示が不適切なため、当該ハーネスがリヤタイヤと接触することがある。そのため、当該ハーネスが断線し、速度計が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、速度センサのハーネスを点検し、リヤタイヤとの接触痕のあるものは、速度センサ一式を新品と交換するとともに、ハーネスを固定するクランプを追加し適切に配索する。それ以外のものは、ハーネスを固定するクランプを追加し適切に配索する。
