Defect
Welds on internal components of the transmission fluid coupling are improper, resulting in insufficient strength. Continued use may cause the affected components to fracture, generating metal particles that damage the seal, allowing hydraulic fluid to leak. In the worst case, loss of hydraulic pressure renders the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fluid coupling with a corrected part. If internal transmission damage is found, replace all affected parts with new components.

状況
変速機の流体継手内部の部品の溶接が不適切なため、強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該部品が破損し、金属粉によりオイルシールが損傷して作動油が漏れ、最悪の場合、油圧不足となり走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、流体継手を対策品と交換する。なお、変速機内部に損傷がある場合には関係部品を新品と交換する。
