Defect
An improper manufacturing process for the outer lever inside the transmission's Gear Shift Unit (GSU) leaves microscopic cracks in the lever. Continued use allows the lever to fracture, making gear changes impossible. In the worst case, the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the GSU manufacturing number and, on affected units, replace the outer lever with a non-defective part.

状況
変速機のギアシフトユニット（ＧＳＵ）内のシフト操作を行うアウタレバーの製造工程が不適切なため、当該レバーに微細な亀裂が生じているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該レバーが折損し、変速不能となり、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＧＳＵの製造番号を確認し、対象のものはアウタレバーを良品と交換する。
