Defect
The weld joining the coil spring lower seat to the rear axle beam in the rear suspension was insufficient. Vibration during vehicle operation can cause the weld to separate, allowing the seat to tilt. When this occurs, the brake pipes secured to the seat may contact the rear axle beam. Continued operation in this condition can damage the brake pipes and, in the worst case, brake fluid may leak, reducing braking force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the serial number of the rear axle beam and replace affected beams with conforming parts. If weld separation is found, replace the brake pipes and brake hoses with new parts.

状況
後輪緩衝装置のコイルスプリングの台座(ロアシート)とリヤアクスルビーム との溶接が不十分なため、走行中の振動等により、当該溶接部が剥れ台座が傾き、 台座に固定されているブレーキパイプがリヤアクスルビームと干渉するものが ある。そのため、そのまま走行を続けるとブレーキパイプが損傷し、最悪の場合、 ブレーキ液が漏れて制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リヤアクスルビームの製造番号を点検し、該当するものはリヤアクス ルビームを良品と交換する。また、当該溶接部に剥れがあるものは、ブレーキパ イプ及び、ブレーキホースを新品と交換する。
