Defect
The front hub has insufficient strength margin to withstand conditions such as over-torqued hub bolts or overloading beyond design limits. Vehicles operated repeatedly with a high frequency of turns may develop cracks near the base of the hub flange. Note: Recall No. 1056 was issued March 24, 2004. Subsequent strength analysis using newly established verification methods identified additional vehicles not previously included in that recall as also requiring a remedy. This notice covers those vehicles.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, replace the hub with the corrected part. Because full parts supply will require additional time, owners will be notified accordingly and vehicles will be remedied in sequence as parts become available.

状況
ハブボルトの過大締付け等の整備状況や、過積載等の想定を超える稼働条件に対して、フ ロントハブの強度余裕が十分でないため、旋回頻度の高い走行を繰り返した場合等に、ハ ブのフランジ部の付け根付近に亀裂が発生するおそれがある。 （備考） 平成１６年３月２４日に「届出番号１０５６」のリコール届出を行ったが、その後、新たに定義・確 立した強度検証手法に基づく強度検討の結果、対象外としていた一部車両についても、対 策が必要との判断に至ったため、本リコール届出を行うものである。
改善措置
全車両、ハブを対策品と交換する。 但し、対策品の全数供給に時間を要するため、ユーザにその旨を通知し、部品供給の準備 が整い次第、順次対策品に交換する。
