Defect
On some vehicles, the nut securing the transfer companion flange was not staked during assembly. The nut may loosen while driving and, in the worst case, may come off entirely, causing the propeller shaft to detach.
Corrective action
Disassemble and inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle where the nut has not been staked, verify tightening torque and perform the staking operation.

状況
トランスファのコンパニオンフランジを固定するナットのカシメを行っていないものがあ るため、走行中に当該ナットがゆるみ、最悪の場合、当該ナットが外れ、プロペラシャフ トが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両を分解点検し、カシメがされていないものについては、締付けトルクを確認しカシ メを行う。
