Defect

The bracket securing the rear shock absorber to the frame has insufficient strength. Vibration and load during driving cause cracks to develop in the bracket. Continued use allows the bracket to fracture and separate from the frame, reducing damping force. The brake pipes fixed to the bracket are also damaged, causing brake fluid to leak. This activates the warning system and reduces braking force.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the bracket with a corrected part and inspect the brake pipes in the affected area. Replace any damaged brake pipes with new parts.

状況

 緩衝装置において、リヤーショックアブソーバを車枠に固定するブラケットの強度が不 足しているため、走行中の振動、荷重等により当該ブラケットに亀裂が発生し、そのまま の状態で使用を続けると、当該ブラケットが破損して車枠から外れ、減衰力が低下すると ともに、当該ブラケットに固定されているブレーキパイプが損傷してブレーキ液が漏れ、 警報装置が作動するとともに制動力が低下するおそれがある。 備考:FR型25トン トラックのリーフスプリング車

改善措置

全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品と交換するとともに、当該部分のブレーキパイプを点検 し、損傷しているものは、ブレーキパイプを新品と交換する。
