Defect
The front wheel hub on certain four-wheel-drive vehicles has insufficient strength. Repeatedly driving on rough downhill terrain while applying the brakes heavily during steering maneuvers may cause cracks to form in the flange section of the wheel hub. In the worst case, the wheel hub may fracture and the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected wheel hub and wheel bolts with corrected parts.

状況
４輪駆動車の前輪ホイール・ハブの強度が不足しているため、下り坂の悪路において、 ハンドルを切りながらブレーキを多用するような走行を繰り返すと、当該ホイール・ハブ のフランジ部に亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、ホイール・ハブが破損し、走行できなくなるお それがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホイール・ハブ及びホイール・ボルトを対策品と交換する。
