Issue
Due to an improper manufacturing process in the brake operating simulator of the electric servo brake system, assembly oil used during production may have infiltrated the pressure sensor. Over time, this oil causes corrosion of the resistive element inside the sensor, producing an abnormal output value. As a result, the warning light illuminates, the fail-safe control activates, and brake pedal effort increases.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the pressure sensor output value of the brake operating simulator. On any unit that falls outside the inspection standard, replace the brake operating simulator with a corrected part.

状況
電動サーボブレーキシステムのブレーキオペレーティングシミュレータにおいて、製造工程が不適切なため、製造時に使用する組付け油が圧力センサ内に浸入することがある。そのため、使用過程で当該センサ内の抵抗部が腐食し、出力値が異常となり、警告灯が点灯するとともにフェールセーフが働き、ブレーキペダルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキオペレーティングシミュレータの圧力センサの出力値を点検し、点検基準を外れるものはブレーキオペレーティングシミュレータを対策品と交換する。
