Issue
The gear change pedal arm is incorrectly shaped on some units, resulting in insufficient weld strength at the joint with the change pedal boss. Repeated gear-change operations cause cracks to develop at the weld. In the worst case, the weld may fracture while driving, causing the change pedal arm to detach and create a road hazard for other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the gear change pedal with a corrected part.

状況
ギヤチェンジペダルにおいて、チェンジペダルアームの形状が不適切なため、チェンジペダルボスとの溶接部強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、変速操作を繰り返すと溶接部に亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、走行中に当該溶接部が破損し、チェンジペダルアームが脱落して、他の交通を妨げるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、対策品のギヤチェンジペダルと交換する。
