Defect
An improperly designed warning display program in the combination meter causes the brake system warning lamp in the combination meter to remain off when any function of the pedal misapplication collision mitigation system fails — including the short-range collision mitigation braking function, the unintended acceleration suppression function, and the reverse unintended acceleration suppression function. This condition does not conform to UN Regulation No. 13H.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the combination meter warning display software with the corrected/updated software.
