Defect

An incorrect material was used for the component that retains the operating knob position in the turn signal switch. Rainwater and other moisture that enters the switch interior may cause rust to form on this component. As a result, the turn signal switch may become inoperable.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the left-side steering switch assembly with a corrected part.

状況

方向指示スイッチの操作ノブの位置を保持する部品に異なった材質を使用したため、スイッチ内部に浸入した雨水等で錆が生じることがある。そのため、方向指示スイッチが操作できなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、左側ハンドルスイッチ一式を対策品に交換する。
