Defect
In the fuel system, insufficient clearance exists between the fuel pump wiring routed across the top of the fuel tank and the reinforcement plate at the rear seat belt anchor. Continued use allows the wiring to contact and chafe against the reinforcement plate, causing damage and a short circuit. In the worst case, the fuel pump may stop, causing the engine to stall.
Corrective action
All vehicles: replace the affected wiring with new parts and reroute it from the top of the tank to the side of the tank.

状況
燃料装置において、燃料タンク上面に配索されている燃料ポンプの電気配線と後部座席ベ ルト取り付け部の補強板との隙間が不足しているため、そのままの状況で使用を続けると 、当該配線が補強板と干渉して損傷、短絡し、最悪の場合、燃料ポンプが止まり、原動機 が停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該電気配線を新品と交換し、電気配線の配索をタンク上面から側面に変更する 。
