Defect
Due to inadequate manufacturing process controls, the sealing surface of the fuel tank filler neck on some units is locally recessed. The rubber gasket fitted to the fuel filler cap cannot conform to these recessed areas, reducing airtightness. As a result, evaporative fuel emissions may exceed the specified limit.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, replace the rubber gasket in the fuel filler cap with a corrected part designed to conform to irregularities in the filler neck sealing surface.

状況
燃料タンクにおいて、製造管理が不適切であったため、燃料タンクの給油口のシール面が局部的に凹んでいるものがある。そのため、燃料タンクキャップに設定しているゴム製パッキンが給油口のシール面の局部的な凹みに追従できず、気密性が低下し、燃料蒸発ガス量が基準を満たさないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクキャップのゴム製パッキンを燃料タンクの給油口のシール面に対して追従可能な対策品に交換する。
