Defect
On vehicles equipped with a dual-chamber fuel tank connected internally by piping, improper assembly of the rubber hose that joins the main and sub chambers to the sub-chamber filter unit causes the rubber hose to twist and become blocked. As a result, even when fuel remains in the sub chamber, it cannot be adequately supplied to the main chamber. Once the main chamber is depleted, the engine stalls and may not restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank connecting pipe and rubber hose with new parts, and correctly assemble the rubber hose and filter unit.

状況
主室と副室の2室からなる燃料タンクを内部で連結する配管のゴム製ホースと副室側のフィルタユニットを組み付ける作業が不適切なため、当該ゴム製ホースが捩れて閉塞するものがある。そのため、副室に燃料が残っていても主室に十分供給されず、主室の燃料がなくなるとエンジンが停止し、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクの連結配管及びゴム製ホースを新品と交換し、当該ゴム製ホースとフィルタユニットを正しく組み付ける。
