Defect
On low-floor all-wheel-drive vehicles, the front axle design and the cleaning process used during manufacturing are inadequate. Foreign material inside the axle may enter the reduction gear bearing, causing damage to the reduction gear. Continued use in this condition produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, may cause the gear to seize, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front axle and reduction gear bearing with corrected parts and install a new reduction gear.

状況
低床型全輪駆動車において、フロントアクスルの構造及び製造時の洗浄工程が不適切なため、アクスル内部の異物が減速ギヤのベアリングに浸入し、減速ギヤが破損することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該ギヤに噛み込み、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フロントアクスル及び減速ギヤのベアリングを対策品に交換し、減速ギヤを新品にする。
