Defect
The hydraulic pressure supply hose to the power steering unit is improperly secured, allowing the hose to contact the vehicle body during driving vibration. Continued use causes the hose to chafe against the body, eventually wearing a hole through the hose wall and resulting in an oil leak. In the worst case, steering control may be lost.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a protective sleeve and wire band to the affected hose. Any hose found to be damaged is to be replaced with a new unit.

状況
パワステアリングユニットへの油圧供給ホースの固定が不適切なため、走行中の振動等に より、当該ホースが車体と干渉するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当 該ホースが擦れて穴が開きオイルが洩れ、最悪の場合、ハンドル操作ができなくなるおそ れがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホースに保護材とワイヤバンドを追加する。なお、ホースが損傷しているも のは新品と交換する。
