Defect
The routing of the vacuum hose for the pressure regulator (fuel pressure control device) is inadequate, allowing moisture droplets generated inside the intake manifold during driving to enter the pressure regulator through the vacuum hose. If the engine is shut off under extremely low ambient temperatures, the moisture inside the regulator freezes and prevents it from operating. In the worst case, when the engine is subsequently started, fuel may leak from the joint between the fuel hose and fuel pipe.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vacuum hose with a corrected part featuring a revised routing, and replace the pressure regulator with a new unit. Additionally, inspect the fuel hose clip; on affected vehicles, replace the clip with the corrected part and replace the fuel hose with a new one.

状況
プレッシャーレギュレータ（燃料圧力調整装置）用の負圧ホースの取り回しが不適切な ため、走行中にインテークマニホールド内で発生した水滴が負圧ホースからプレッシャー レギュレータ内に浸入することがある。そのため、極低温下でエンジンを停止した場合、 浸入した水滴が凍結してプレッシャーレギュレータが作動しなくなり、最悪の場合、エン ジンを始動するとフューエルホースとフューエルパイプの接合部から燃料が漏れるおそれ がある。
改善措置
全車両、負圧ホースの取り回しを変更した対策品に交換するとともに、プレッシャーレギ ュレータを新品と交換する。また、フューエルホースクリップを確認し、該当するものは 当該クリップを対策品に交換するとともに、フューエルホースを新品に交換する。
