Defect
On certain vehicles, the brake hose attached to the left rear wheel disc brake assembly is improperly routed. Suspension travel of the rear wheel causes the hose to contact the fuel tank mounting bracket. Continued use may damage the hose and, in the worst case, allow brake fluid to leak, reducing braking force.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected brake hose with a corrected part.
