Defect

On certain vehicles, the brake hose attached to the left rear wheel disc brake assembly is improperly routed. Suspension travel of the rear wheel causes the hose to contact the fuel tank mounting bracket. Continued use may damage the hose and, in the worst case, allow brake fluid to leak, reducing braking force.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the affected brake hose with a corrected part.

状況

左後輪ディスクブレーキに取り付けられているブレーキホースの組み付け位置が不適切な ものがあり、後輪の上下動により当該ホースが燃料タンク取付ブラケットと干渉し、この ままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ホースが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキ液が漏れて制 動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該ブレーキホースを対策品と交換する。
